In the past, the Association has considered a resolution to change the By-laws to restrict the rental of condominium units at Westhaven. The resolution didn’t pass due to insufficient attendance at the meeting or returned proxies.
Over the past year Westhaven continues to be an attractive property for investment owners. In the past 12 months three units, (two of which were previously leased) have been purchased by investment owners. While these owners have been great responsible owners without any issues, the board remains concerned and committed to limiting rentals due to the possibility of other investor owners purchasing multiple units and renting them as non-owner occupied units.Westhaven

The City has contracted with a recycling company who uses an automated system to pick up and dump your recycling into their truck. In order to maneuver the arms that pick up the containers they ask that you maintain a 3 foot clear area around the container. By keeping this clear, they can grab it and dump it without having to take the time to jump out of the truck to maneuver the container. Your help is greatly appreciated.
As Always your containers must be returned to your garage by the end of the pick up day which is typically Monday
This Halloween, McGruff the Crime Dog as well as a Grand Chute Fire Truck will visit S Olson Ave to pay neighborhood children a visit and interact with Trick-or-Treaters! We encourage homeowners on S Olson to consider leaving a light on and providing candy that night, as a way to provide a safe and friendly atmosphere for kids in the neighborhood.
On a related note, we’re pleased to announce that all 3 Neighborhood Watch signs have now been installed in our neighborhood:

Window Leak Causes Wood Rot
This summer, while re-placing exterior wood siding around windows, we discovered that there were leaks around several windows which has resulted in damage to the wood frame of both doors and windows in several units. The extent of this problem is not yet known but repair or replacement of the wood is going to require both interior and exterior work. We are taking steps to stop the leaks and will schedule repairs in spring of 2018.
